What we buy
We offer competitive prices for all your unwanted jewellery, including hallmarked and un-hallmarked precious metal jewellery, such as: rings, necklaces, bracelets, chains and pendants, alongside gold medals and nuggets.
We do not buy plated gold jewellery.
What we pay
Scrap gold prices have risen in the last few months, due to the current financial markets. This is great news for you, as we’re able to offer really competitive prices for your scrap gold! All you have to do is fill in our form and we will send out your fully insured gold selling pack free of charge.
The carat rating of gold refers to how fine the jewellery is. For example, 9 carat is the least pure, containing 37.5% of fine gold, whilst 24 carat is as close to 100% as possible.
Therefore, you will earn more from a higher carat piece of gold jewellery. Value of each carat is worked out as a percentage of the spot price, based on the weight of your gold.

Our prices are based on the live spot price. Once we receive your gold, we will quote you a fair an accurate valuation, based on that days metal prices, which you can lock in with us.
How it works
You can either send your unwanted jewellery to us by post, or bring it in to our store for valuation in the Jewellery Quarter, Birmingham.
BY POST
First obtain an estimated price for your scrap gold using our online calculator & claim form above. If you don’t know the weight or carat of your jewellery, don’t worry too much, we can check this upon receiving your items.Then you’ll need to post your jewellery over to us. We will send you a free padded postal envelope. Please click here for yours. All you’ll need to do is pop your gold in the pack and drop it off at the post office. Your jewellery will be sent via Royal Mail Special Delivery and the parcel’s contents will be insured up to £2500. If you are sending us more than this please get in touch so we can adjust the insurance value accordingly.
*It is the customers responsibility to ensure the package is delivered securely. Keep your tracking information safe to ensure we receive your goods.
Upon receiving your jewellery, we’ll check it over and call you to confirm the price with you. If you’re not happy with the price, we will send your jewellery back to you at no cost. Should you wish to sell your gold, we can get your money to you via bank transfer or have cash ready for collection at our store in the Jewellery Quarter, Birmingham.
IN-STORE
If post isn’t for you, you can alternatively bring your unwanted jewellery in-store for valuation. We’re based in the Jewellery Quarter, Birmingham and open from 10am-5pm.We’ll then test your metals for purity and give you an on the spot price for your goods.
